I’m Mariah, a passionate fitness enthusiast dedicated to helping others live healthier, happier lives. My fitness journey began back in high school after finding out I have a thyroid condition. I had to learn how to fuel my body through exercise and nutrition. I believe that fitness is not just about looking good; it’s about feeling good, building confidence, and fostering a positive mindset. After having my baby girl in Summer of 2024, I decided it was time to help others in their fitness journey! I find so much joy in supporting other women, teaching and maintaining healthy habits, and creating a positive and supportive environment for women to build each other up and move their bodies!
I’m super excited to bring barre and stretch, something fun and new to Navarre. I’m originally from California and have lived here for 11 years with my husband and 2 children and we love it here. I have been dancing for almost 20 years and have always loved fitness.
Education: RYT 500. When I first started practicing it was hard… moving my body mindfully and sitting in stillness was a big ask. But I kept coming back to it and over time I developed a love for the practice, enjoying the stillness and exploring what I found there. I grew up in a small city between Niagara Falls and Buffalo, NY. Therefore, hot yoga is my favorite yoga. But what I love most about yoga is the magic. We come together in the same space, breathe the same breath and practice the same asana. Yet we all have a different experience: those who come in frazzled leave calm, and those who come in tired leave refreshed. My intention isn’t to teach yogis how to bring their heel over their head; however, if one stays in a regular practice, that could happen! What I really want is for every body to have a meaningful experience so they leave thinking: “yoga is something I would do again.” Whether that is with me or another teacher doesn’t matter; I simply hope that you keep the yoga door open, so the magic of practice can spill from your mat into your everyday life.

200 hour RYT
I first started yoga in 2014, and it ignited my passion for health and wellness. I found yoga to give me a sense of peace and confidence, and yoga became my primary method of self-care and physical exercise. Before finding yoga, exercise always seemed like such a chore, but yoga taught me to love moving my body and inspired me to explore other types of movement.
I have completed my 200-hour training in 2021 in Pensacola. I am a huge advocate for incorporating mindfulness into your daily life. As a psychologist and yoga teacher, I would like to encourage people to strengthen their bodies, grow in their mind-body awareness, and cultivate more mindful ways of living
Education: Comprehensive Certified Pilates Instructor by Club Pilates Teacher Training
I am a comprehensive certified pilates instructor and has been teaching equipment classes and mat classes for 4 years now. My love of pilates started at the age of 13 when I started training with pilates as a way to supplement my dance training. I had a successful professional ballet career of 4 years, where I found pilates to be at the forefront of keeping my body and spirit
healthy, even through numerous injuries.
I believe in the magic of the method of pilates for all types of people, looking for a healthy and body conscious type of movement. I am thankful to be a lifelong student of pilates and extremely lucky to be able to share this with others. I believe that pilates is a way of doing life, and not just a means of exercise or working out.
I am excited to bring my passion for pilates to Iron Lady Fitness.
